Dr Mahi Ranasinghe graduated from the University of Colombo with honors and completed surgical training in Sri Lanka. He obtained Australian fellowship in 2007 and is a credentialed upper and lower GI endoscopist.
Dr Mahi Ranasinghe’s surgical interests are broad, however he has a special interest in laparoscopic bowel surgery and laparoscopic hernia repair. He is also interested in providing emergency surgical services and emergency endoscopy services.
Dr Ranasinghe takes a keen interest is surgical training and is an instructor for the RACS asset course and an examiner for the University of QLD.
Dr Ranasinghe is also fluent in Sinhala.
